1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the website at formalus.com (the “Site”) and the Executive AI Opportunity Assessment. The Site is operated by Formalus Limited, registered in England & Wales (company number 10374580), registered office 20–22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU, United Kingdom.

By using the Site or booking an Executive AI Opportunity Assessment, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site.

2. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its server, or related systems
  • Use any automated system to scrape, harvest or extract data from the Site, beyond reasonable indexing by public search engines
  • Misrepresent your identity, organisation or capacity in any submission
  • Use the Site to transmit material that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory or infringing

3. The Executive AI Opportunity Assessment

The Executive AI Opportunity Assessment is provided free of charge. It is a short session with your leadership team, followed by a written summary. By booking one, you acknowledge that:

  • Anything we say is an initial view based on what you tell us in the session, not a professional opinion of record
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us
  • The summary and any recommendation are indicative, and are not a substitute for the discovery work carried out during a paid engagement
  • Anonymised, aggregated findings may be used to strengthen our evidence base and emerging benchmark of AI adoption in the UK mid-market
  • Booking a session does not create a professional advisory relationship between you and Formalus Limited

Paid engagements — the Executive AI Briefing, the AI Accelerator and AI Value Orchestration — are governed by separate engagement letters and services agreements, not by these website terms.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, frameworks, diagrams, the AI Value Map, the commercial boundary, the four-risk model, the Sector Value Architecture, the Formalus Value Tracker method, the Assess–Align–Accelerate–Orchestrate structure, copy and visual identity — is the intellectual property of Formalus Limited unless explicitly attributed otherwise. You may:

  • Read, print and download Site content for your own non-commercial reference
  • Quote brief extracts with attribution and a link back to the original page
  • Cite Formalus frameworks in your own work with attribution

You may not reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit Site content, frameworks or session output without prior written permission, or present our frameworks as your own.

5. No professional advice

Nothing on the Site is legal, financial, regulatory, tax or technical advice. Where we describe processes in regulated sectors, responsibility for regulatory judgements remains with your own risk, compliance and legal functions.

Our industry pages describe patterns we see across a sector. They are not findings about your organisation. Whether any of it applies to you is exactly what a paid engagement establishes, and nothing on the Site should be relied on as a substitute for that.

Prices shown on the Site are current indicative fees for standard engagements. Actual fees are set out in an engagement letter and may differ where scope differs.

6. Third-party technology

We refer to Microsoft products and services because our clients commonly use them. Formalus Limited is not a reseller, licensor or implementer of those products, receives no commission on their sale, and is not responsible for how they perform. Microsoft names and marks belong to Microsoft Corporation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • The Site and the Executive AI Opportunity Assessment are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind
  • Formalus Limited does not warrant uninterrupted, error-free or virus-free operation
  • Formalus Limited is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, Site content or session output, including loss of profit, business or anticipated savings
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded

8. Third-party links and content

The Site may link to third-party sites or embed third-party content, such as the calendar booking widget. Formalus Limited is not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those third parties.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when the current version took effect. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms, or your use of the Site, is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
